Demi manages the funding and administrative activities of the organization to support its daily operations and programs. As a settler with Greek ancestry born and raised on the land of the Kanien’kehá:ka, Demi’s life and education led her to learn more about Indigenous cultures and the imbalance of power among communities in society. She completed a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Saskatchewan and has previously worked for Indigenous communities in the non-profit sector, specifically in grassroots organizations that work towards building equitable systems for communities.
