Catherine Irwin-Gibson

Catherine brings to the board her background in Law and Public Policy, having litigated for a number of years in Indigenous Traditional Territorial Land Claims, Civil Liability, and Tort Law.

She then underwent her Master’s in Public Administration, focusing on Indigenous Governance, at Queen’s University.

Throughout these studies her work focused on policy research for Indigenous communities.

She continues to work with First Nations Chiefs and Councils and Organizations to support their initiatives.

Her fields of work have related to Education, Housing, Government relations, Feasibility studies and Governance.

She has a strong business sense and experience sitting on Boards of Directors in growing organizations as they strive to serve the growing demands of stakeholders.
