Rachel Deutsch has worked in community work, project coordination, mental health, and substance use in Indigenous organizations in Montreal and Ontario since 2008.

She has also worked in research on various projects including in Latin America on human rights issues.

She has a Master of Social Work and an MA in human geography.

Apart from work, she is a recent mother, sews, plays the violin, and loves making short films.
