Deseray Rich

My Name is Deseray Rich, I am Innu First Nation and Inuk from Labrador.

I grew up in a little town called North West River, with my Great Grandparents until they passed away.

I was a foster child during my teenage years.

As an Indigenous woman, I have faced many hardships throughout my life, but I am still here and have strength to help my people.

I am passionate about helping others through their healing journey, and as the Victim Services Coordinator, I get the chance to do that.

My role is to provide support for those going through the court system as a victim, or even if they are not comfortable going through the system, I am still available for services.

I also do workshops and will be doing some healing circles for the Indigenous population in Montreal
