Sarah is Inuk from Kinngait, Nunavut.

She grew up between Nunavut, Québec and Saskatchewan.

She went to the University of Ottawa and studied sociology and environmental studies.

The early part of her career was in policy and has focused on community work in recent years.

Sarah loves coffee, travelling and languages, speaking Inuktitut, French, English and Spanish.
